Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is made up of caring, concerned adults from the community. Our board provides direction, oversight, and vision for the Executive Director. The team meets monthly for prayer, ministry updates, and strategic planning.
Meet our Board

Jeff Payne, Chairman
Jeff's experience with YFC goes back over 25 years. He participated as a teenager and watched his daughter grow through the ministries provided by our local YFC chapter. Now he has the opportunity to serve the youth of our area on the board of directors and cannot tell you how exciting it is to be a part of this ministry. He looks forward to the growth God has in store for this chapter and knows that our communities will help us "serve every Kid - one at a time." We thank you, Jeff, for all you have and will be doing for this chapter as we continue to grow to become all we can be for these kids!

Pastor Kurt Jurgensmeier, Vice Chairman
Pastor Kurt has been married to his wife, Brenda, for 21 years. They have five children: Jessica, Joelle, Jenna, Joseph and Joshua. He is the Pastor of New Life Community Church which he and a few families started in his living room in 1994. Pastor Kurt has a special burden to reach our public schools with the Gospel and joined the Heartland YFC Board in 2010. Even though he has been a member of the Board for only a short time, his service has been above and beyond and greatly appreciated.
Dave Johnson, Treasurer
Dave is a local business owner who has been a part of Youth for Christ for some time now. He has a love for young people and a desire to help all he can come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Dave never fails to give of himself for this organization and the young people in this area in many tangible ways.Jake Fahnle, Secretary
Jake has been involved with YFC since 1985. He is married to Theresa with two sons, Seth 16 and Ben 14, who are both students at Xavier High School. He is employed by Regional Elite Airline Services and attends New Covenant Bible Church. Jake's faithfulness and dedication to YFC is evident in all he has done for this organization and for the youth of this area.
Craig Clark
Craig is married and has three children. He is a local business owner and pharmacist. He has served on the Board for 17 years in the capacities of Secretary, Vice-Chairman and most recently Chairman. Craig's love for this community and its people cannot be matched. He is a vital part of this organization and we are appreciative of his involvement with YFC.
Cindy Golding
Cindy is brand new to the Board of YFC but not knew to being involved with YFC. Cindy and her husband, Joe have been married 30 yrs and keep busy with their 6 kids, 7 grandkids, 9 foreign exchange kids and various business ventures. Since 1989 Cindy's involvement with youth ministry has covered the gambit from parent volunteer to Director of Youth Ministry and volunteering with YFC, as well. Therefore, it seemed a natural occurrence for her to have joined the Board of Directors at Heartland YFC. We look forward to Cindy's input and her leadership in the future.
