City Life is a relational, community-based ministry aimed at serving under-resourced neighborhoods and developing young people into emerging leaders who lead where they live. It focuses on five areas of growth, all within the context of relational ministry: Spiritual, Educational, Economical, Social, and Interpersonal. As a result, young people are able to learn and practice basic life skills. They grow in their knowledge and understanding of Biblical truths. They achieve stronger academic success. They become positive influences among their peers and in their community. And they begin to cultivate a lifestyle of Godly stewardship.
Campus Life helps reach high schoolers and middle schoolers in their own environment. Every week, we engage hundreds of young people at schools all over Eastern Iowa. Campus Life blends the formation of healthy relationships with Biblical literacy to help students make sound choices. Our goal is to help establish a solid foundation for their young lives and empower them to positively impact their schools. As with all Youth For Christ outreaches, Campus Life seeks to make and grow life-long followers of Jesus Christ.
Every summer, Heartland Youth For Christ works with local camps and like-minded partners to offer a memorable experience to the youth we serve. Our goal is to provide an environment where God can transform lives through shared experiences, time in His creation, and moments of solitude that draw young people closer to Him. Our hope is that those who attend camp will experience a transformation and – in turn – postively impact the lives of those around them.
